I have been visiting Creede for 25 years. We ALWAYS get a burger or brat. We love the made to order service and tasty food. The fixins' are always fresh and love the tea and lemonade. We wish the business would move to Texas.

The thing you need to know about this place is if you see it open you need to go there. We've been coming to the area for 5 years and they aren't always open. I can't figure out the magic formula.
However, when they are open, they are packed. Due to the odd hours of operation we've only eaten here a couple of times and have sampled the burgers, chicken and Frito pie. All are pretty good, haven't tried the hot dogs yet. The burger typically has a good char and is tasty right off the grill. I prefer it to the chicken which seemed like a frozen patty. That's fine if that's what you are expecting, just not what I was expecting.
You order at the window and pay and then walk down to the grill and wait for your order to be ready. You can go inside to get your drink and condiments and ice and there is mostly outdoor seating. The tables are cheap and the prices are a little high but this is a touristy town that basically shuts down in the winter so what do you expect?
I don't let that deter me, these are the things I expect when on vacation. What does deter me is that I wish I knew when to expect them to be open as I like to sample as many places as possible when in the area. -

This place has some amazing food, great service and the best sweet tea I've had in Colorado. The decor is cozy and the servings are huge. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the servers are great at making sure you have refills. We really enjoyed lunch here.

Awesome dogs! Cooked to order on a barbecue grill outside. Susanna takes the orders and Jeffrey grills them up. Seems to be the local hang out, everyone saying "Hi" to each other. Got the dog, frito pie, fresh brewed iced tea. Won't be eating g dinner tonight! Definitely worth a stop when you are in Creede.

Was a little bummed out, this place looks very inviting and good. The quality of the dogs was very low, I don't even buy hot dogs this cheap for my kids. The fries are unremarkable frozen "krinkle" fries. The could have spent just a little more on ingredients, passed on the cost, and it would have been somewhere I'd eat at more than once.
